Sleepy Tents and Teepees started when owner Melissa Williams came across glamping ideas on Pinterest. She was inspired to bring glamping to the Chicagoland suburbs. Yes there are some local sleepover companies, but she wanted to bring this to another level. Sleepy Tents and Teepees started with the design and durability of the tents and teepees. From there they went into creative mode on themes, which are inspired by many of the things they love coupled with current trends. Melissa’s mom, Diane, is a master seamstress and she quickly went into hand-making pillows and tent covers. Her partner, Alex, the master craftsman and the man behind the teepees and tent designs, turned the garage into the center of operations. Let’s not forget the preteen in the house, Santana--he helped solidify the themes, designs and must haves to make this popular for every age, but especially teens.

Sleepy Tents and Teepees is the slumber party and glamping expert! They deliver, set up, and take down. All items are professionally laundered by a local dry cleaner. All tents, teepees, and air mattresses are disinfected. During these times, they know you may be looking for another option, so they also offer DIY (Do it Yourself) set up. The DIY option is available on their tents, and they can drop off or you can pick them up and set up yourself.

Today, they offer over 10 themes, and if they don’t have the theme you're looking for, customization might be an option. The ideal age for these slumber events is 5+ to adult. Each themed tent or teepee comes with a twin air mattress, linens, tray table, lanterns, lights, decorative pillows, throws, and décor. Additional items available include party gifts, floor balloons, yard card signs, matching cookie kits and much much more. Kids or adults bring their own overnight pillow and additional blankets as needed. Sleepy Tents and Teepees can be used not only for kids’ birthdays, but for family camp-in night, bachelorette parties, or just an adult slumber party.
