COVID-19 has been hard on all of us. We've had to give up so many of our normal things in effort to prevent the spread. It has been especially hard for performances that usually draw large crowds.
I absolutely love Midnight Circus in the Parks and look forward to seeing them with my family every year. Midnight Circus values bringing the circus into Chicago communities at an affordable cost. In addition, their performances raise money for the Chicago Park District and they have raised over 1 million dollars! But holding a circus in a tent with lots of people close together poses an issue during a pandemic.
Leave it to Midnight Circus to figure out how to make the show go on anyway! Way back in the beginning, Midnight Circus didn't have a tent, and this year's Open-Air Tour won't have a tent either. With generous donations from it's supporter's Midnight Circus will return in 2020 for eight performances of their Open-Air Tour. And to make it ever better, all tickets are free (but need to be reserved in advance)!
