Kids everywhere love Disney on Ice. They get to see their favorite characters and hear their favorite songs. There are lighted magical wands and special photo ops. As parents, we love to watch our kids faces light up as they sing and dance along with their favorite characters.
But this time around it isn't just about the kids. I've seen my fair share of kids movies and what parent hasn't heard Let It Go about a million times. But do you know what else we heard? Songs like I Can Show You the World and Hakuna Matata. There were scenes from Mary Poppins, Aladdin and The Lion King, along with some of the newer films. It took both my husband and I back to our childhood, and I think I can safely say we both enjoyed this performance a little more.
Disney on Ice continues to produce delightful, high quality performances that are so much more than just ice skating. There are aerial performers, bicycles and even fire on the ice! Check out some of the highlights from our afternoon hosted by Feld Entertainment in the video below.
