It is finally supposed to snow this weekend! I know, I know--not everyone is excited for snow. But my daughter got a sled for Christmas, and so far she has only been able to use it to pull around her toys inside. If there are even a few flurries, she asks to go outside and go sledding. So we are so excited for snow and sledding! And what goes better with sledding than outdoor ice skating?
I've put together a map of sledding hills and outdoor ice skating rinks in the northwest Chicagoland area. That includes Skokie, Niles, Park Ridge, northern Chicago, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Evanston, Northbrook, Rosemont, Des Plaines, Wilmette and more. Be sure to check the links provided with each location to make sure that facilities are open before heading out. Now go have some winter family fun!
